A structured capacity-building programme transforming the Tana River and coastal innovation ecosystem. We guide young innovators and entrepreneurs through digital skills, innovation, entrepreneurship, green-blue economy, and leadership development, preparing them for commercialisation, employment, investment-readiness, and regional impact.
Our initiatives create sustainable pathways from learning to livelihood.
The transition immediately after Form Four is the most critical and vulnerable stage for youth in our community. More than 50% of young people fail to realise their ambitions not for lack of desire, but because they lack the guidance, mentorship, and structured support needed to turn hope into real progress. Without intervention, many fall prey to negative peer influence, while young women face heightened risks such as early pregnancy. The Tana River Campus and Centre for Innovation, Training, and Youth Empowerment intervenes at this exact point, providing direction, mentorship, and opportunity before negative influences take hold. We place particular emphasis on equitable access for girls and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and work with parents and guardians through community sensitization to enrol young people immediately after completing high school.
The programme aligns on five key sectors: Digital Skills; Innovation & Commercialisation; Entrepreneurship; Green-Blue Economy; and Leadership Capacity Building, Talent & Skills Development.
